It's been a long week and there's still one day left. It started off
with a call from my oldest daughter calling to share that my son-in-law
dislocated his shoulder in a hockey tournament. Ouch. Correction, mega
ouch. Days following include dropping in on my mother most evenings on
the way home from work to make sure she's okay before heading home to
cook dinner and partake in domestic duties that my tidy and neat
personality cater to. My mom's been sick with bronchitis among a few
other things I care not mention. She has a CT-scan scheduled as she is
hearing an odd noise in her lungs when she breathes. Not good. And
after working it out that my brother take her to her appointment so I
didn't have to take any time off today the cold/flu has now caught up
with my daughter and she's sick working on her second day home from
school. That makes me the lucky winner of taking off regardless so I
can take her to the doctor this afternoon to hopefully nip this in the
bud before it gets worse. But hey, tomorrow is Friday. That's gotta
count for something.
